It's Almost Here!

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I love dressing up, candy, and decorating my home all "spooky" :) I'm especially excited for this year since it's Peyton's first, and my sister-in-law is letting me borrow the cutest costume for him, but you will just have to wait and see what it's going to be. . .

I'm also excited because my friend Katie and I are planning a murder mystery dinner. I have not done one since high school, and I remember it being so much fun. I'm just hoping Blake will get into it, because I sure will. If it's a success it might have to become a yearly tradition. I'll let you know how it goes. . .

Nine Months

 

Peyton is nine months can you believe it?! My baby is growing up! He started crawling a month ago and he is very good at pulling himself up onto furniture. He eats everything we put in front of him and he says mama perfectly. He is sleeping so much better, especially since we put a fan in his room (white noise). Blake and I have just loved watching him grow. He is getting to be so much fun to play with.

Last Sunday I decided it was time for Peyton to get his hair cut. So I got with my playgroup buddy Rachel Mendenhall and she helped me make my son look like a rockstar.

Our Trip to Parma (part 1)

Kevin and Kimmie went to visit family in Parma this weekend, so instead of driving 9 hours to Spokane, we decided to meet them half way. Blake a Kevin went golfing while Kimmie, Rula (Kevin's mom) and I went shopping and did crafts. We had such a blast, and Peyton loved their little chihuahua Peanut, and would chase him (or scoot after him) around the house. It was so wonderful seeing them, and I told Blake we need to make a goal to see the Jackson's at least once a year.

These were the cardigans Kimmie and I made from long sleeved onsies. We got the idea from here. These are a size 12 month, so Peyton has just a little bit of time to grow into them.

We went to a yard sale, and there were some really cute clothes. My mom would be so proud.

We went to Kechum/Sun Valley for my side's family vacation. Mom and Dad rented a nice cabin. We went to a cool thrift store and I found my most favorite second hand thing of all time. . . a chair for Peyton that hooks onto the table. It's a nice one and I got it for four dollars. Other purchases included; baby einstiens, and a picture frame. It was a fun trip except for Peyton had the worst time sleeping, which made for a cranky boy and parents.
